Residents of Litein town in Kericho County are rife with fear and grief as thugs attacked and killed one of their own.
The criminals raided a home of a influential businessman and killed his wife.
The maid and daughters weren’t so lucky either as they were gang raped by the thugs and left with serious injuries.
The family, businessman, daughters and maid, were taken to the nearby hospital to receive medical attention by the neighbors.
The Bureti OCPD Ali Abdulahi confirmed this incident. He also said that police have began investigating.
The incident happens just a few days after a local teacher and his wife were killed in cold blood.
Tenison escalated in Litein Town as residents blocked the police from moving the body of the slain wife. The residents demanded answers from the police in what they termed as ‘police negligence.’
Talking to a local media station, the resident said, “People are being murdered and police are doing little to help us end it. We want answers.”
