Kenya Harambee Stars head coach summons squad for CHAN 2020 preparations

Kenya’s National Team The Harambee Stars will kick off preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and Africa Nations Championships (CHAN) duties.

Head coach Sébastien Migné named 25 locally based, 17 of them will hold the first of their intended weekly training sessions on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies Grounds starting 9 am.

Francis Kahata, Philemon Otieno and Joash Onyango have been excused from Tuesday’s training session due to their parent club’s midweek commitment in the Kenyan Premier League.

Kenya takes on Ghana, away, in the final Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in March 2019 with the Harambee Stars having qualified. The Harambee Stars will also take on Burundi in an African Nations Championships Qualifier (date to be announced by CAF in due course).
