We reported in these very lines yesterday that the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) petitioned court to halt the ongoing Huduma namba registration exercise that kicked off a few days ago after a massive launch in Nyandarua.
The Human right body was concerned on quite a number of issues regarding the Huduma namba where once operational, any person without it will cease to have access to government services.
However, the criticisms of the Number in question have taken a new twist as some legal brains have tasked government to highlight on the un-answered questions concerning the highly anticipated unique number.
Questions are arising from all sections of public domain about how and why the huduma namba is linked to master card and people’s bank accounts, it’s alleged that the government while putting in force, the project, didn’t not explain in details how the huduma namba will operate.

He further faulted the Government for not making public information on which technological system Huduma Numba runs on, who owns the application or how it addresses the right to privacy as engraved in the Constitution.
