Major Boost for Spurs; Kane is back!!

Good news for Tottenham fans and the entire team as their key striker, Harry Kane is likely to make his return from injury against Burnley this weekend in a EPL fixture.

The Tottenham striker suffered an ankle ligament injury against Manchster United last month and was expected to be out until March.

But he has made remarkable progress in his recovery and returned to first-team training on Monday.

Tottenham’s players took part in a light session after being given the weekend off following their Champions League success over Borussia Dortmund.

His comeback comes at a critical time for Spurs as they look to close the gap on Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League. Son has however kept the club riding high even when the English was away.

Kane is likely to start on the bench for this weekend’s trip to Turf Moor with Spurs performing impressively in his absence.

It is hoped he will get some game time ahead of the crunch clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge next week.Spurs also take on Arsenal in the north London derby on March 2.

Dele Alli also remains sidelined for Spurs after suffering a hamstring problem. But Spurs hope he will make the return leg with Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League next month.

Tottenham are currently five points adrift of leaders City, although they do have a game in hand on the Premier League champions.
