Kenyans angered by court's decision to fine man KSh 600K over KSh 12 million theft

Kenyans on social media have come guns blazing at the Judiciary after a court fined a former cashier KSh 600,000 over loss of KSh 12 million at the Ministry of Education. Perminus K. Njoroge was handed the fine or a one year imprisonment for unlawful acquisition of KSh 12, 980,000 from the defunct Ministry of Higher Education in 2011.

Taking to Twitter and Facebook, Kenyans could not comprehend how the court gave such a fine amid heightened fight against corruption in the country.
