Tanzanian Artist Juma Jux has revealed the long list of Veteran artists who inspired his music.
The Singer mentioned that he was passionate about music and used to listen the music of ‘legends’ during those days.
Jux however never had the picture in mind that he would be a musician or even join the industry.
Some of the Tanzanian artists he used to listen to are Mr Nice, Dully Sykes, TID among other artists.
Although he used to listen to music from beyond the borders, Juma Jux says that they never really inspired him as much.
Some of the Kenyan artists that he used to listen to include; Prezzo, Nameless among others.
Speaking on whether he reached out to Mr Nice and if he is where he should be in terms of his presence in the Industry, Juma Jux believes that something might have gone wrong.
The artist also added that at times fame can indeed get a greater part of you in the sense that you lose yourself.
On Prezzo, Juma Jux believes that he was popular in Tanzania not just for his music but for his lifestyle and fashion.
Juma Jux also mentioned that he indeed learnt so much from the pioneer artists and he gets excited when such legendary artists acknowledge him for his music.
