How Sex and Success in landing the job is Rampant in CUEA

Whispers, rumors, talks of lectures who take advantage of students in the promise of adjusting their grades is a practice that has been rampant in most institutions of higher learning, that has been blamed for half-baked graduates. However, most of these student-lecturer relationships end immediately the students finish their studies. This is different from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).

According to sources within the University, the practice is rampant in the Social Science Department as well as in the law faculty. One of the cases involves Maureen (undergraduate and masters student in political science who never completed her masters). She is alleged to be among the beneficiaries of sex for grades/job through Mr Mike Sitawa. She was hired by Mr  Samuel Wakanyua to be an instructor for the Diploma in International Relations which began in August 2018. Another alleged beneficiary of the scheme is Adhi, an undergraduate in political science, who also benefited through Mr Sitawa.

We are in a society where those in power frustrate one effort to create an opportunity for exploitation to those in the pursuit of a service or product.
