Police Launch a Man-Hunt for ‘Spiderman’ Who Has Been Terrorizing Kilimani Residents

Police launch hunt for 'Spiderman' terrorising Kilimani residents

In what may be seen as improved service delivery to the people by the police, many Kenyans believe that their life seems to be safe.

It was a notable thing to see how the police managed to trace a man who has been causing the people of Kilimani sleepless nights.

And now the police have launched a man-hunt for a lone burglar who has been terrorising a section of Kilimani residents for close to a fortnight now.

The creative man, now aptly nicknamed the ‘Spiderman’, is only armed with a backpack and skills to scale from one floor to another.

On February 10, 2019, spiderman was not a lucky guy as he was captured by a CCTV while jumping over the fences of residential apartments in Kilimani.

In the video, he is seen looking around and – when his view seems clear – he pulls a typical ‘Spiderman’ stunt and climbs through a stair rail to access the first floor.

According to reports, on that fateful day, he succeeded to escape with a huge amount of money that he stole from every house he safely broke into.

However, Kilimani OCPD Michael Muchiri has assured the residents of the region that day and night patrols have been increased to ensure that spiderman is brought to book.

Detectives are also on the run to identify if the suspect enjoys protection from security guards to proceed with the vice.
