Meet the 7-year-old athlete being called the next Usain Bolt

Rudolph Ingram who is a 7-year-old young American athlete has been labelled as the fastest kid in the world after running 100 meters in just 13.48 seconds in Florida.

 

A video has gone viral where Rudolph Ingram was seen leaving the other competitors as he roars to victory in the race.

His dad says the goal now is to let him be a kid but help him set the stage for his future.
He watched the Usain Bolt documentary, he has seen a lot of those people’s documentaries and he realizes that they were doing the same thing that [he] was doing at that age. So [he] could see where this would lead to,” said Rudolph Sr.

He tells his son anything is possible if you don’t give up.
“This is my baby, I’m overly proud of him. He makes me so proud,” said Rudolph Sr. “I don’t like saying it, but I feel like he’s a one in a million child. I don’t like saying it because he’s my child but I definitely feel like he does great things.”

He has won 36 medals including 20 golds in the past two Amateur Athletic Union national championship events. When he was six, he played running back and safety for the Tampa Ravens in a league designed for older boys, known as Blaze, the youngster is now being compared with Jamaica star Usain Bolt because of his superb speed.
