Why Tonny Gachoka’s new show is a blow to JKL

One man Tony Gachoka popularly known from Jeff Koinange Live (JKL) back in 2015, is making a grand comeback to media limelight.

The former chief of protocol of Raila Odinga has a new TV show on KTN News premiering  13th February at 9:45 PM. This is a blow to his long term friend Jeff Koinange who is now enjoying his supremacy in Citizen TV. The show highlights almost similar matters of discussions as JKL and this might cause splitting of the audience.

The two, Jeff and Tony, were summoned by police in 2015 after the drunkard Tony discussed a company’s conduct on-air contrary to the court order issued. Tony Gachoka, however, was banned from JKL and Jeff was fired from the station

Tony has been known for condemning social injustice and corruption in the country. It is remembered that in the 1980s and ’90s he launched his newspaper Sunday Post which exposed a lot of mishandling of power by leaders.

The political analyst will appear on the screens again with his new show Point Blank.

KTN News promised that Point Blank is a new and innovative, thought-provoking and intellectual tilted Kenyan news and magazine and television program. This will see Gachoka going one on one with politicians, business leaders, environmentalists, and opinion leaders.
