Manchester United, PSG on the wrong side of the law

Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain have been charged by UEFA for crowd disturbances during Tuesday night’s game at Old Trafford.

The Premier League side has been charged with throwing objects and blocking of stairways in breach Uefa safety and security regulations.

PSG on the other end has been charged with four offenses including setting off fireworks and throwing objects.

However, midfielder Angel Di Maria appears to have avoided action for inciting fans after picking up the bottle of beer and pretending to drink from it, and for mouthing obscenities into the crowd following PSG’s opening goal.

The case is to be heard on February 28, a week before the fixture’s second leg.
