Why Rosemary Odinga sued her personal assistant

Rosemary Odinga has sued her personal assistant John Oduor for stealing Sh245,000 from her NIC bank account.

The money was allegedly stolen between November 15, 2018, and February 5, 2019, according to the charge sheet.

Oduor’s wife, Christine Anyango was also charged for conspiracy in the case.

The couple was arraigned before Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi on Monday.

They were released on a bond of Sh200,000 each or an alternative cash bail of Sh100,000 each.

The hearing of the case will be held on March 7.
