Man Utd Star Anthony Martial CONFIRMS He Wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer As Permanent Manager

The Norwegian has impressed since replacing Jose Mourinho, winning 10 of his 11 games so far. And Martial has admitted he would love the club to keep Solskjaer in charge.

The Manchester United forward said: “Well obviously things are going really well, we are really happy.

“I hope we can keep him, but it is not down to us.”

Martial also opened up on what Solskjaer has told him to do differently since he replaces Mourinho.

He explained: “Asked me to attack more and attack that’s my job to make the difference and be more decisive things are working out well for the other strikers too and I hope we can all continue to be effective and efficient.”

The Frenchman also believes Solskjaer has given his squad the belief they need to beat Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League tomorrow.

He said: “I think when Ole came in he had a lot of confidence and determination that’s really boosted us and obviously we are trying to pay it back in kind and hope things work out well.”

United boss Solskjaer feels his squad has the talent depth needed to reach the Champions League final.

“I think the squad is very capable of winning against anyone and we go in to games confident in our form we are looking forward to the game but you can’t look to far ahead,” he added.

“We just have to look at PSG and take the next challenge as it comes, been pleased with the attitude if we keep working every day, we can improve and maybe surprise a few.”

United have been boosted by the news the French champions will be without Neymar and Edinson Cavani is a doubt.

And Solskjaer has admitted it will change the way PSG play.

He said: “Of course any team which are missing players like Neymar, Meunier or Cavani are feeling the affect, but it will give their other players a chance.

“It makes it more unpredictable for us, this time around we are guessing a bit how they are going to come.”

United against PSG kicks off at 8pm tomorrow.
