Well at home regarding the important security matters, four county commssioners were moved in new changes announced by interior principal secretary Karanja Kibicho.
Kajiado County Commissioner David Kipkemei was moved to the Office of the President, Harambee House to wait new assignments.
He was replaced by Nakuru’s Joshua Nkanatha while Transnzoia’s Erastus Mbui was named the new Nakuru County Commissioner.Naivasha deputy County boss was named the acting Transnzoia boss.
Officials said Kipkemei was moved over a security lapse at a presidential event on February 3 while in Kajiado in a security lapse.
The said lapse happened as President Kenyatta arrived from Arusha through Namanga border and later toured various projects in Kajiado.
He was summoned to Harambee House where he was informed of his mistake on February 4 before he was moved.
The changes are part of ongoing restructuring processes in the provincial administration. The former provincial administration was restructured to accommodate the new commissioners.
