The president urged fellow head of states and governments to not only focus on vicious political cycles but they should embrace long term commitments that give the private sector confidence to invest in the health sector.
The Summit is held under the theme, “Refugees, returnees and internal persons: Towards durable solutions to forced displacement in Africa”.

African countries still face challenges in their health sector, many have worked hand in hand with other development partners to over come some of the health un-met needs and those that are so much wanting especially the Ebora crisis in DR Congo that has caused deaths to over 400 people.
