Gor Mahia have received a huge support from the government through the Ministry of Sports for their trip to Angola next week.
The club received air tickets to Angola to honour the CAF match and through the club’s treasurer Sally Bolo, Gor Mahia appreciated the support.
“It’s with great pleasure today as a club to receive government’s support – securing air tickets for the team to travel to Angola on 11th February 2019 to play a CAF group stage match against Atletico Petroleos,” the treasurer stated.
She added: “We look forward to even more support from the government as we continue to represent the country in such continental assignments.”
Gor Mahia will be facing the Angolan side on February 13.
Gor Mahia currently top CAF Confederations Cup Group D Standings after emphatically beating Egyptian Giants Zamaleck 4-2 in Kasarani last Sunday.
