This year’s mashemeji derby comes with great offers for fans of both teams. A part from just the excitement of enjoying the two sides clash, couples will also have the opportunity to start an early valentine celebration.
The ‘mighty k’ogalo’ will host the struggling ‘ingwe’ in the first part of mashemeji derby this season this coming Saturday.
The clash will be staged at Moi International Sports Center, Kasarani. The eagerly awaited match has roused a lot of excitement among social media users.

As always, the match against the two Kenyan football giants come with a lot of expectations and anxiety and in some cases, caused loss of lives and destruction of properties.
However, the state has promised to tighten the security and encouraged everyone to attend without fear. Gor Mahia’s coach has also expressed hope that the match will be peaceful.

Couples who are dressed well in their team’s full attire and colour will be entered into a draw to stand a chance of getting a memorable treatment.
“Couples are requested to turn up dressed in their favorite club colours on the day and take photos at the green screen activation area. These photos will be entered into a draw where they will stand a chance to win one of the best Valentines packages on offer,” writes Sportpesa.
High-flying Gor will be heading to this match with a 1-0 win over Vihiga United on Wednesday while AFC will be looking to stand again after being beaten 2-1 by Mt Kenya United Fc on the same day.
‘K’ogalo’ is number four in the table with two games in hand, whilst their arch-rival is fifteenth on the table.
