Alarm has been raised over the disappearance of activist Caroline Mwatha who was last seen on Wednesday February 6 and her phone has been off since as well.
A tweet shared by Amnesty Kenya on Saturday, February 9, shows Mwatha is a human rights activists who has been fighting extra judicial killings in Nairobi’s Dandora estate.

She is also said to be a founding member of the Dandora Community Justice Centre and the Social Justice Centers Working Group. “Caroline Mwatha, a founder member of the Dandora Justice and the Social Justice Centers working group has not been seen since Wednesday this week and her phone is off, ” reads the tweet.
“Our sister Caroline Mwatha has been missing since Wednesday, February 6, morning. We request anyone with any information to contact mentioned numbers to assist in her search,” wrote Rine Mbeke.
