Hey fam. As endo warriors, we are faced with countless struggles. The biggest challenge remains misdiagnosis and with this comes botched surgeries, wrong medication etc. This makes the disease worse that by the time you're seeing a skilled endometriosis specialist, they first have to deal with all the damage caused due to misdiagnosis and then deal with the disease. It's horrific the damage most of us have gone through. So the best solution is to first get trained specialists to deal with this disease. Then early proper diagnosis. The skilled specialists will then be able to carry out excision which will in turn save so many lives and end the agony. I kindly need your help to fundraise as i have accrued more hospital bills. God bless you abundantly and have a fantastic weekend.

The main symptom for endometriosis is severe pelvic pain during menstruation. Common symptoms are; painful periods, pain during intercourse, pain with bowel movements, excessive bleeding and infertility.

There are factors which puts ladies at risk of getting endometriosis which are; never giving birth, starting your period at an early age, going through menopause at an older age, short menstrual cycles ,having higher levels of estrogen in your body or a greater lifetime exposure to estrogen your body produces, low body mass index, alcohol consumption, one or more relatives (mother, aunt or sister) with endometriosis, any medical condition that prevents the normal passage of menstrual flow out of the body and uterine abnormalities.

Signs and symptoms of endometriosis end temporarily with pregnancy and end permanently with menopause, unless you’re taking estrogen.Endometriosis can be a challenging condition to manage but an early diagnosis, a multidisciplinary medical team and an understanding of your diagnosis may result in better management of your symptoms.
