Seems like Kenya power is hell bent on receiving anger from clients after it has announced it will not be able to make online payments for their postpaid bills tomorrow Saturday from 4 pm to Sunday at 6 am.

This, according to the company is to enable system maintenance to enhance efficiency.

However, no customer will be disconnected for failure to pay their bill during this time.

The exercise will not affect token purchase under the prepaid vending system.

Last month, Kenyans expressed their frustration over the delays in getting prepaid tokens from the Kenya Power and Lighting Company.

Some of the customers questioned why the company took so long to address the issue andsome of the disgruntled customers took to social media to express their frustrations.

“In case you have not received after purchase, please send us the transaction code and meter number for action. Inconvenience regretted. We are still sending your tokens after resolving the system delay problem,” KPLC tweeted on one of the occassions.

But some customers accused the company of taking so much time to solve the issue.

“Someone needs to sue you to bankruptcy, this company should be shut down,” @Jozzyjagatasr tweeted.
