Vihiga United head coach Mike Mururi says Gor Mahia FC are ‘beatable’ as his side prepares to host the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions at the Bukhungu Stadium.
Vihiga defeated Ulinzi Stars 2-0 in their league opener in December but have since gone 10 straight matches without a win to leave them sitting on the relegation danger zone, just two points safe.
On the other hand, Gor who had a sluggish start to their campaign are slowly rediscovering their form and come into the clash on the back of a 4-2 CAF Cup successive over Egyptian giants Zamalek.
Vihiga were 2-0 winners over Gor in their previous clash and will hope they can pull off another upset result on Wednesday.
“I have told my players to put more effort to look for the maximum three points having in mind we will be playing at home. Gor is just like any other team which can be beaten,” Mururi said.
