DR Congo’s Felix Tshisekedi’s Quest For Wisdom & Prosperity Brings Him to Nairobi

The Democratic Republic of Congo Presidential elections might have been marred by cases of irregularities and rigging but one thing that stood out is that the Country witnessed a peaceful transition of power for the first time in 18 years.

Felix Tshisekedi was declared the validly elected President of DR Congo, a position that was later affirmed by the Country’s top Court.

He was later sworn in as the duly elected President in a ceremony attended by among others President Uhuru Kenyatta and AU High envoy for Infrastructure Raila Odinga.

Uhuru Kenyatta was actually the only President who attended Tshisekedi’s swearing in ceremony, a clear indication of the fact that Kenya’s head of State was keen to solidify his Nation’s ties to Dr Congo.
