Man United beat Leicester 1-0 in the Premier League last weekend. Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game after nine minutes, following a Paul Pobga assist.
Man United are now on the charge for a top four finish in the league. The Red Devils are also gearing up for their Champions League last-16 tie with PSG.
The first leg against the Parisians is next week. Speaking to Le Parisien after the Leicester loss, Claude Puel gave some interesting quotes about Paul Pogba and the PSG tie.
When asked about the upcoming PSG match, Puel noted the following problems for the French side:
The forces have rebalanced. Manchester (United) have returned to a high level and PSG has problems. The problem for PSG right now is the environment in which they don’t keep the ball enough and they don’t move it fast enough.
The absence of (Marco) Verratti and (Adrien) Rabiot is very painful. Paris have lost control. Without Neymar, and without the industry of Neymar – (Kylian) Mbappé and the team is in trouble.
Recovering Verratti will be very important. Paris can then play with Verratti, Marquinhos and (Angel) Di Maria in the middle in an area where there are no other players. They also have Rabiot.
I do not know Paris will play, but a 3-5-2 seems to me the most solid.
