Fred has posted a cryptic message on social media as he continues to struggle for game-time at Manchester United.
The Brazilian midfielder has found it hard to break into the first-team following his £52million move from Shakhtar last summer, and the 25-year-old has only started three Premier League matches in the last four months.
The midfielder posted a motivational quote on his Instagram story, which translated from Portuguese as: “God is using this situation that you are going through to shape you.”
Fred also added his own caption which read: “Good morning, a week blessed for everyone.”
The Brazil international was unable to establish himself under former manager Jose Mourinho and has yet to make an impression under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer – not playing a minute of any of the last seven matches.
Despite the lack of playing time, speaking last week Solskjaer reassured the midfielder by insisting his time would come.
“There’s loads of players that have come in and found the first few months difficult,” Solskjaer said. “One of the best players I’ve played with that struggled the most was Diego Forlan. Veron [is another] you know, those two fantastic players and it took a bit of time. But when they settled they performed.
“So I don’t think he needs to worry too much. He’ll get chances.”
