Arsenal star Auba reveals where he wants to play

Having been used as a wide player and as a striker, Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has revealed that he prefers to play as a center forward.

Since joining from German side Borussia Dortmund a year ago, Aubameyang has been prolific in front of goal netting 25 Premier League goals in 37 appearances.

Aubameyang has forged a formidable partnership with Alexandre Lacazette with whom they have alternated the striking role together.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Aubameyang revealed that he is comfortable playing as a striker, “My favourite role is playing striker, in front. I also like playing on the wing, but I think my best position is striker. I like to play with two up front, it’s nice because you can do some combinations with the other strikers. If the coach needs me on the right or on the left, it doesn’t matter, I go and I fight for the team, it’s no problem.”
