Uhuru’s trusted watchdogs of the big four agenda

Visions are not easy to turn to achievements unless one has an efficient method of delivery that will guarantee results and this is why the president has employed his team of trusted watch dogs to foresee his plans fo Kenyans.

President Uhuru Kenyatta has charged five trusted men with ensuring that his Big Four agenda becomes a reality by the time he leaves office in 2022.

Among the individuals chosen include the newly appointed “super CS,” Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Fred Matiang’i, Treasury CS Henry Rotich and head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

The other two are the Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita and Interior Principal Secretary Kibicho Karanja.

Following his appointment as the National Development Implementation and Communication Committee, Matiang’i will be dealing mostly with CSs and will be the overall coordinator, with Kinyua heading his secretariat.

Matiang’i will be deputized by Rotich who will ensure that there is money for the Big Four projects. It is reported that Uhuru has a good relationship with Rotich, having worked with him at the Treasury when the president was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance.
