Tanzanian Songstress Nandy has responded to the rumors that she will be the newly signed artist under Diamond’s Wasafi Record Label.
The Singer says that she is not planning to join Wasafi and those are just rumours since they were spotted together a while back in a Dubai Concert.
The response by the Tanzanian beauty comes weeks after Diamond Platnumz had announced to the public that he is set to announce the newly signed female artist under Wasafi Record Label.
Nandy says that her management has been working closely with WCB on many levels and for her it would not make sense to cross over considering that it is almost something similar.
Diamond made it clear that his move to sign a female artists is to empower women and make them see that women can take up such roles too.
Fans had earlier made guesses that it would either be Nandy, Ruby, or Hawa of Nitarejea that will be ushered in to the Wasafi Record Label.
The signing of the new female artist contradicts Diamond’s earlier statement when he said that he would not sign a female artists for the fear of the limitations that would come along with that. However Diamond had a change of heart and insists that he is intentional about this move.
His Manager Babu Tale had hinted that Hawa of Nitarejea might not be signed considering that she is still recovering from her surgery.
Speaking to Milele FM Nandy set the record straight saying that she will not be signed either.
