FIDA Kenya has today called upon the Director of Public Prosecution to investigate the threesome saga that involved two gospel artists.
This comes days after the two Gospel Artists DK Kwenye Beat and HopeKid were exposed for having a sexual encounter with a lady.
This story has caused an online uproar having that the encounter left her contemplating suicide and getting into depression since one of the artists is accused of infecting her with an STI.
FIDA is a membership organization committed to the creation of a society that is free from all forms of discrimination against women.
Earlier today, they issued a statement reaching out to the the young woman to offer legal support.
With instructions from her, they will ensure that the perpetrators are arraigned in court.
FIDA also stated that such heinous crimes do not only warrant an apology but stringent measures and violence against women MUST stop
FIDA Kenya addressed the matter after they read about of the inhuman and degrading incidence to a young woman allegedly committed by @Dkkwenyebeat.
“It is disheartening that a section of the society is condoning the action. Statement by alleged perpetrators have also been brought to our attention.”they said in the statement.
Other Female activists also jumped in mentioning that an apology is not enough to solve a rape case and therefore justice must be served.
