Horror as a Police Officer in Nandi Slits His Throat After Feasting on His Wife and Kid

Is the world coming to and end? Have people suddenly forgotten about humanity and the law of nature?

Just two days ago, Interior CS Fred Matiang’i called on senior police officers to be nice to the junior officers and in the process help them deal with stress that has seen many of them take their own lives in mysterious circumstances.

Even before Matiangi’s recommendations could be implemented, shocking information has come out of how a anti-stock theft unit police officer took his own life.

The 24-year-old police officer committed suicide by slitting his throat in Nandi.

The deceased, Cosmas Kipchumba Biwot had been suspended after he allegedly shot and killed his wife Jane Njoki Wambui and her child last year in Subukia, Nakuru County.

According to Nandi East Officer Commanding Police Division David Nyabuto, the deceased is reported to have been been in search of a retired Army Colonel who resides in the area.

“After a drinking spree over the weekend in Nandi Hills town, Kipchumba tip-toed to the Colonel’s vehicle as he was parking, hit him with a blunt object before ransacking it looking for his gun but he did not find it,” said Nyabuto.

It is not clear what transpired that caused him to take his own life.

Kipchumba was out on bond in the ongoing murder case where he allegedly shot 26-year-old Jane Njoki in the head 20 times before turning the gun on his 4-year-old daughter, Shantel Nyambura killing them both.

His body was moved to Kapsabet County Referral Mortuary.
