Reports suggested that Virgil van Dijk hadn’t been training due to illness and was a doubt for the match.

But Jurgen Klopp appeared to suggest that the Dutchman will recover in time.

“Virgil was a little bit ill but he trained yesterday so we will see,” Klopp explained.

While that issue appears to have resolved itself, there’s still a problem at right-back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is still sidelined through injury, while James Milner is serving a one-match suspension after his sending off against Crystal Palace.

So, who could possibly play right-back against Leicester?

That question was put to Klopp during his press conference on Tuesday and the German boss hinted at a potential tactical change.

“You will have to wait until tomorrow,” he said.

“We will play with a right back. Or maybe a wing-back. Wow. Ooooooooh!!!”Image result for klopp

Before Klopp sits back and takes a big sip of water.”I have no clue what we are doing tomorrow to be honest. You will have to wait and see.”

A wing-back?

Did Klopp inadvertently reveal Liverpool will be playing wing-backs against Leicester?

It could be a decent option for Liverpool.

Of course, Klopp’s side may go into that clash against Leicester just one point ahead of Man City.

City travel to Newcastle on Tuesday night and will be looking to reduce the four-point gap with a win at St James’ Park.

The pressure would really be on Klopp’s side if they can do that…
