Nakuru Town East Member of Parliament (MP) David Gikaria was on Monday afternoon arrested over alleged land grabbing.
Gikaria reportedly surrendered himself to Nakuru DCI after remaining elusive from police looking for him over his involvement in land scandals in Lanet.
Reports indicate that the MP was questioned and recorded statements with DCI officers in Nakuru.
He allegedly later went ahead to start construction on the plot of land under question.
Police reports indicate that the Nakuru Town East legislator is set to be arraigned in Court on Tuesday to answer to the charges.
