Bumula MP comes to the rescue of late VP Kijana Wamalwa’s children

Days after airing their blight,Bumula Member of Parliament Mwambu Mabonga has offered to take lead in ensuring that former Vice President Kijana Wamalwa’s children are treated with utmost respect and care.

He, in particular, offered to ensure that the former VP’s daughter, Michelle ‘chichi’ Wamalwa gets back to class after deferring for one-year siting financial constraints resulting from the ongoing family tussle over their late father’s property inheritance.

“I’ll take the lead to ensure Chichi gets back to class.#Shame He wrote.

Mabonga castigated politicians from the Western region for associating themselves with the name of the late VP for their political advancements in the country but cannot mind about the welfare of his children.

“Every politician from our region often invokes late VP Wamalwa Kijana’s name; some do so for their political survival.”

He wondered why his children have been abandoned even when some of the beneficiaries of his selfless services to humanity are still alive and well positioned in society.

“Wamalwa touched many lives but unfortunately his children have been abandoned”.he tweeted.

Chichi has been out of Gems Cambridge International School for close to one year now said that the situation has become so unbearable that the family cannot even afford basics.

“It has been difficult, were it not for friends and well-wishers we would not be surviving,” she said.

The inheritance tussle over Wamalwa’s assets has continued to grow deeper day by day after the second group of siblings emerged to counter Yvonne Wamalwa’s children calling them opportunists who are plotting to dethrone them.
