Inside Ruto’s meeting with council of Governors

The Deputy President William Ruto on Tuesday held a brief meeting with the newly elected Council of Governors led by Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.

The brief meeting in Karen raised a number of important collaborative issue between county governments and the national government.

 

The Deputy president assured the council of governors in the county treasury allocation.

The issue of late allocation and under performance are key issue which the newly appointed chair person Wycliffe Oparanya raised as the impeding blocks to counties performance.

DP Ruto urged the leaders to tag the government in the implementation of various projects.

The out going council of governors was under governor Nanok and miss Waiguru.

The new CoG hopes to steer the counties to achieving the needs of the devolved units.
