Manchester United boss to unleash Sanchez for Emirates trip

Following his injury disruptions in recent times, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has suggested that Alexis Sanchez could start in their FA Cup fourth-round tie at Arsenal.

Sanchez’ only start under Solskjaer was in the FA Cup tie against Reading and he has not completed 90 minutes since the first game of the season against Leicester City. The Chilean appeared on the bench in the 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion over the weekend but was an unused substitute.

Solskjaer hinted that Sanchez could start against his former side Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round, “He’s obviously not 100 percent match fit. Because he’s been out for quite a while. But possibly he’ll be in the team in the FA Cup next week.”

Manchester United travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Friday 25th January in a 10:55 PM kick off
