Image result for crystal palace vs liverpoolCrystal Palace have been impressive on the road in the Premier League this season and could make their presence felt when facing Liverpool at Anfield.

The Eagles have won their last two away games at Manchester City and Wolves and have only failed to score twice in 11 top-flight fixtures on their travels.

Admittedly, Anfield has been a fortress for the Reds this term, but we still like 6/5 for both teams to score for our first Liverpool vs Crystal Palace prediction.

A Look At Liverpool’s Betting OddsImage result for liverpool
Liverpool’s home record is excellent, dropping just two points from 10 fixtures on Merseyside and letting in only three goals in those games.

However, the Reds have conceded in two of the last three matches at this venue, when beating Manchester United 3-1 and Arsenal 5-1.Image result for crystal palace vs liverpool gif

Jurgen Klopp has had to contend with a series of defensive injury woes and suffered another blow after Trent Alexander-Arnold was rocked by a knee problem.

Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren have also been on the sidelines, so this is an area where Liverpool may be more vulnerable at present.Related image

Klopp can still rely on his formidable front men to get the job done, with Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino still going strong.

Therefore, 37/20 for a home win and both teams to score does appeal from the Liverpool vs Crystal Palace odds.

Last Liverpool line-up: Alisson, Van Dijk, Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Shaqiri.

Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum (knee) is expected to miss out. Adam Lallana is back in training after a muscle injury but centre-back Lovren (hamstring) will not be available until the end of the month.

Crystal Palace have struggled with consistency this term and put in another frustrating home display when beaten 2-1 by Watford last weekend, despite being gifted a half-time lead by Craig Cathcart’s own goal.

The Eagles wasted some good chances to increase their advantage, with Wilfried Zaha hitting Ben Foster’s out-stretched leg and then blazing high and wide after neat footwork in the box.

Roy Hodgson said: “It is tough to lose any game, tough to lose at home and it is even tougher because we have done well lately.Image result for roy hodgson

“I hoped this would provide the chance to get that elusive third consecutive victory to lift us to a more comfortable place in the table and I am feeling very sad that we couldn’t do it.

“But, if you want to win games, you need to take the chances that come your way.”

One plus point to come out of that game, though, was Christian Benteke’s return to action from the bench following his four-month injury lay-off.

Palace are also better equipped to hurt teams on the break, with the likes of Zaha, Andros Townsend and Jordan Ayew having the pace to cause problems.

We think they can snatch a consolation strike at Anfield, so 3/1 for the hosts to prevail 2-1, 3-1 or 4-1 completes our Liverpool vs Crystal Palace betting tips.Image result for crystal palace vs liverpool

Last Palace line-up: Guaita, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Sakho, Wan-Bissaka, Milivojevic, Kouyate, Townsend, McArthur, Zaha, Ayew.

Goalkeeper Julian Speroni will start for Palace, making his first appearance since December 2017.

The 39-year-old is the Premier League’s oldest player and will be promoted after Vicente Guaita suffered a calf strain and Wayne Hennessey a muscle injury in last week’s defeat by Watford.
