Riverside explosion coverage lands New York Times Journalist in hot soup

A loud blast and gunshots were yesterday reported in 14 Riverside drive in Westlands in a terror attack. The attack comes on the third anniversary of the El Adde which took place on January 15,  2016.

Three people were confirmed dead in the 14 Riverside Drive attack on Tuesday.

Officers at the scene said the attackers came with a vehicle wearing a bulletproof vest ready to attack.

However, while reporting the matter, a journalist working for New York Times captured some of the images of the victims at the scene, including the photos of the dead bodies, which accompanied her story.

Despite clarifying to Kenyans that she is not the one responsible for choosing photos, Kenyans on Twitter are still irked.

They are now demanding for her deportation.

The International media has hence clarified how it covered the story and the incidences to which the photos were used.

Kenyans on Twitter are however still irked with the media house publishing horrific photos.
