Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan has condemned the Dusit attack terming it as a coward act.
The Governor commend the security forces for the swift response to rescue those trapped in the building.
He also echoed calls by the Government to Kenyans to refrain from sharing information or clips of terror attacks as doing so would be glorifying the work of terrorists.
The governor joined hands with all Kenyans of goodwill to condemn the cowardly attack on innocent people at Dusit Hotel in 14 Riverside Drive, Nairobi
He also wished those who have been injured a speedy recovery and sent his sympathies to families that may have lost their loved ones.
Inspector General Boinnet this evening c confirmed that Six of the seven floors of Dusit D2 Hotel, Riverside Nairobi have been secured by security agencies; and the neutralisation operation still on.
He also added that Kenyans should remain calm and ensure that they cooperate with the authorities during this operation.
Some of the leaders who have come out to stand in unity and prayer with Kenyans include Governor Amason Kingi, Babu Owino among others.
