20 year old Alvin has recently spoken in length on his debut song ‘Taka Taka’ which was dropped yesterday.
His song was produced by one of the best Kenyan producer Magix Enga.
Alvin had only shared a 30 second video that went viral online and later on dancehall musican KRG followed up on him saying that he had spotted raw talent.
The ‘Taka Taka’ song triggered reactions; praise and equal criticism.Alvin however came clean to say that it is a song that was inspired by real happenings.
He also mentioned that apart from his side hustle, he has always been passionate about music and now he is ready to take it to the next level.
Speaking to Mseto East Africa,KRG explained how he got linked up to Alvin and made sure that his song is produced by the best.
“I looked for him because of the melody and the rhyme. He also expressed himself in a way that many people might want to speak out but do not do that” KRG says
He also believes that Alvin has raw talent and he can grow only if he has the people around him to usher him into the industry
KRG mentioned that he posted on social media for people to link them and in two days they talked.
“He came to studio and he was afraid to record after he saw some artists and he has to go home” he stated
Alvin on the live interview promised not to let KRG down and thanked him for seeing the potential in him.
