Christian Pulisic to join Chelsea as most expensive American player; which soccer players did he pass?
Christian Pulisic has become the first January arrival of Sarri’s reign at Chelsea, earning Borrusia Dortmund £58m,only four years after BVB acquired the USA international from Us Soccer Development Academy. Chelsea also confirmed Pulisic will spend the remainder of the 2018/19 season with the current bundesliga league leaders.

Christian Pulisic became the most expensive American footballer in recent time after completing his big money move to Chelsea on Thursday.
It was reported that Chelsea paid a sum of $73m for the 20 year old gazumping the $22.5m Wolfsburg paid Hertha Berlin for U.S. international John Brooks in 2017.
It is the most high-profile move secured by an American outfield player.

Pulisic grew up in a family that was well familiar with playing football as his parents,Mark and Kelley both played college football at George Mason University, with his father going on to play professional indoor football as a forward with the Harrisburg Heat. His cousin, Will played in goal as a goalkeeper.

2. Pulisic Got Into Bundesliga Record Books
Pulisic wrote his name in the annals of German Bundesliga record books after he became the Youngest Foreign Born Player to score a goal in the league. He achieved this feat at only 17 years old.
A couple weeks later, he scored his second career goal, making him the youngest player ever(not just foreign-born) to score two goals in the Bundesliga.
