Christian Pulisic has become the first January arrival of Sarri’s reign at Chelsea, earning Borrusia Dortmund £58m,only four years after BVB acquired the USA international from Us Soccer Development Academy. Chelsea also confirmed Pulisic will spend the remainder of the 2018/19 season with the current bundesliga league leaders.

Barely a month after getting his milestone goal for Borussia Dortmund, the youngster set another record tumbling, and this time, it was with the United States National Team.

At just 17 years and 253 days old, he became the youngest player in the “modern era” to score for the United States after slotting home the American’s final goal against Bolivia in a 4-0 win on May 28 2016.
