The Teachers service commission(TSC) has stated that the school will open as stated. Speaking to the media in their Upper Hill offices the TSC representatives has said that all teachers are expected to report to their respective institution as stated.
The TSC has said that it will continue engaging with the KNUT officials to help subvert the looming strike which is expected to kick off on Thursday when students report back to school.
The TSC officials have also urged the parents to prepare to take back their children back to school starting from tomorrow.
This raises a lot of confusion as the KNUT officials have not yet given out their official report considering the teachers strike.
The students are also confused on the curriculum as the CS Amina said sometimes last year that the new curriculum will not be rolled out. But President Uhuru Kenyatta on his new year message insisted that the new curriculum will be effected from this January. CS Amina Mohammed is expected to give a full and clear report later today on the new curriculum.
