Kenya’s very own Nadia Mukami is the new flavor of Kenyan Music and representing the face of Female artists.
Yesterday, she pulled down a grand performance although I personally feel that she did not get a well deserved reception.
I mean she deserves better having that this marked among the biggest of her achievement.
2.Queen Darleen
Wasafi Artist Queen Darlene yesterday pulled a grand performance at Uhuru Gardens during the Nairobi Concert.
Fan were thrilled by her performance and were all energetic since she was among the few artists who performed first.
The Singer famously known for her major hit song ‘Kijuso’ featuring Rayvanny is one of the female artist who is shaking the music waves in Tanzania and beyond.
Her song which now has over 14 million views on you tube shows her potential and pure talent in entertainment
Yesterday, she impressed Nairobians when she could not resist the ‘Lamba Lolo Fever’. After concluding her performance, she sang a bit of lamba lolo as a teaser as she gave her fans lollipops as New Year goodies.
3.Mbosso
Mbosso received a great reception than I had imagined he would get. People love him. He’s talented and more than ever the love that Kenyans have for him was quite intriguing.
Tonight, the party is still on since the singer will be making an appearance in one of the popular Nairobi club.
3.Rayvanny
Rayvanny did well, but she should have performed more songs. His presence on stage was so shortlived although he performed his collabos later on.
4.Harmonize
In my opinion, I think harmonize was the best performer of the night, his live voice sounds as close as his recording voice.
Took the right time on stage, performed all his hit songs while maintaining the crowd’s attention throughout. Legendary. I also liked how he dressed.( He was in a Kenya 7s rugby jersey with his nickname ‘Konde boy’ inscribed on the back)
5.Lava Lava
Lavalava…cant say much about him. He has good songs with lots of potential…
Plus ladies went all crazy and groped his manhood .. an act that left netizenz buzzing
6. Naiboi
The man who is said to have saved the night.Everyone loved 2 in 1!!
7. Diamond Platnumz
Finally, Chibu Dangote came on stage at around 2.45am. Simba mwenyewe owned the crowd…although people were tired at this time so singing back was notso energetic.
Diamond is king, he’s a great dancer, great live voice and great crowd controller/capturer(find the right word?) He performed for over an hour including his collabos with his wcb team. He also, has a talented dj ( Romy Jons).
And for the first time in the world, he got to perform his hit with morgan heritage(hallelujah).
After diamond and rayvanny sang salome( this was performed wonderfully!!) People shouted “Nyege!! Nyege!! Nyege!!” Babu Tale, one of diamond’s managers, had to come on stage I think to insist to diamond and Rayvanny not to perform the song?
