Yes, you read that right.  Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has been offered a whopping £44m a year by Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang to move in January, a figure that would see him triple his current 120k a week salary in the Premier League, after tax!

Dalian Yifang have put together a very complimentary package that would include another £2.5m in bonuses as well as unlimited first-class travel to and from the United Kingdom, such is their desperation to land the Ivorian.

Former Real Madrid gaffer Bernd Schuster is in charge of the Chinese outfit and already has big names Yannick Carrasco and Nicolas Gaitan at his disposal leaving room for one more big name.

The manager is likely to make an official move for Zaha when the transfer window officially opens in January.

However, it is extremely unlikely that Crystal Palace will accept any offer for their star man, who is contracted with the club until 2023. The 26-year-old has received a lot of attention from clubs around Europe but is unlikely to leave Palace in the near future despite the big money offers.

Zaha’s move to Manchester United did not quite work out and he has played his best stuff when he is the star man at Crystal Palace. It would be a poor career move for him to go over to China and earn all this money as players who have gone over there have simply fallen out of the media’s attention.

Imagine being able to earn that sort of money!
