Museveni throws shade at Miss Uganda over her fake ‘Indian’ hair

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni acted unimpressed by the hairstyle of the Ugandan beauty Muzukulu Abenakyo saying that he encouraged her to keep it natural.

Muzukulu Quiin Abenakyo, the current Miss Uganda, who was recently crowned Miss World Africa, paid a courtesy call to the President at State House, Entebbe  earlier yesterday.

Museveni congratulated her on these accolades and also saluted her for recently completing her university degree course. “She is a true definition of beauty coupled with brains.” he said

Muzukulu Quiin Abenakyo is an advocate of responsible living among young people. She is specifically focusing on helping young girls lead responsible, healthy lifestyles.

Museveni also commended Abenakyo’s parents for raising her with values. He added that  many young people today rush into promiscuity and ruin their lives, yet a little patience and completing school would give them a foundation on which to enjoy the rest of their lives with their spouses.

Despite the praise that the Ugandan President showered on  the beauty, he threw shade at  her fake ‘Indian hair’ and  suggested that  natural hair is the way to go.

“We must show African beauty in its natural form.”  he said

A positive critic perhaps but  the fact that he indicated that this was his only concern raises brows’.

The Miss Uganda, Quiin Abenakyo was crowned Miss World Africa at the Miss World 2018 finals in Sanya city, China.

Following this big win for Uganda, Museveni  said that going forward, his government will support the Miss Uganda Foundation.
