Days after the pregnancy news of Kenya’s veteran musician went viral, Coast-based songstress Nyota Ndogo has refute claims of her being expectant.
During an interview with Edaily, ‘Kuna watu na viatu’ hitmaker said her body weight has increased, and, as a result,netizens have speculated that she was expecting her third baby.
“I am shocked by reports I am reading online claiming that I am pregnant. No, I am not expecting any baby.”
The swahili songbird went ahead to explain that she added body weight and for a very long time, her belly has always been big.
‘Maybe those reporters derived their conclusion from a picture I had posted online. Nonetheless, they should have called me to verify such allegations before publishing unsubstantiated reports. It speaks volumes of how they source their stories. Should we believe everything the media writes? You know better. Anyway, I feel challenged to hit the gym so that I can reduce my body weight,” said Nyota Ndogo.
However this is not the first time Nyota Ndogo’s false pregnancy alarm went viral.early this year she took to her social media account to deny being heavy pregnant.
“If I had the power, I’d give birth every year like a chicken. For those who think that I do not want to give my husband a child, that’s not the case,” she penned.
