The first Lady has been leading the country in most development projects. She has been the sole-person in steering of the national development especially through women empowerment.
The first lady has been core in the pushing for the achievement of the Universal Health Care, which is among the top Agendas of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Apart from pushing for affordable health care, the first lady has continued to push for the preservation of the Environment.
On Sunday the first lady Margaret Kenyatta led the state in honoring the heroes who have stood out in the conservation of the environment.
The Event which was held at Kenya Wildlife Headquarters in Nairobi marks this year’s inauguration that appreciate individuals who their efforts in making the nature and the environment conducive for all that occupy it.

The event was also attended by the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism Najib Balala among other top stakeholders who play a major role in ensuring that the country’s pride is protected.
This comes as the country marks an improvement especially in protection of Elephants and Rhinos which were endangered due to the poaching rate that was alarming.
The conservation of water sources is the new fight which the state right now is struggling to ensure that it is realistic. This has been effected by the recent demolitions of the buildings that have been constructed on Riparian land.
