Have you ever questioned the operations of the Kenya’s Judiciary under the leadership of Chief Justice David Maraga? You must have been right then, since the Judiciary is currently rotten, and the rot has been exposed. Maraga hit the headlines last year when he cancelled the 2017 presidential elections, something that had never happened. However, his stunt slightly started changing when President Uhuru Kenyatta made remarks after cancellation of the poll results, the remarks that must have gotten Maraga worried.
“We shall revisit the Judiciary” were the remarks that changed the operations of the Judiciary. However, Senior counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi has come out to expose the rot in the Judiciary under the leadership of Maraga.
The Lawyer expressed his disappointment in Maraga, as he listed the CJs he has worked under since his admission in the year 1993.
The vibrant lawyer says that he had never practised law before a more “inept”, corrupt, tribal and politically compromised judiciary as is the judiciary is now under CJ Maraga.
“I was admitted to the Bar in 1993 by CJ Hancox and practiced before CJs Cockar, Chesoni, Apaloo, Chunga, Gicheru, Willy and now Maraga. I have never practised before a more inept, corrupt, tribal and politically compromised judiciary as is the judiciary is now under CJ Maraga,” said the lawyer through a post on his official twitter account.
