Were you a Darassa fan and wondering what might have happened to him after dropping two back to back tracks that ruled airwaves all over East Africa?
Well, worry no more as the now self declared Magic Music Boy is back and with a bang.
After over a year of silence even on social media, Darassa has dropped an audio to his upcoming video set to be released today. The song titled Tofauti is already gaining utmost love from the fans of the Tanzanian rapper and singer.
Announcing his return, the singer had this to say through his official Instagram account:
“Kivuli changu ujanja wa kukikimbia NTAANZIA WAPI! Haya, Haya, Kumekucha alie ulizia Mambo yako Kati, Kati!
tag rafiki zetu wambie watu wetu kama
Tuko live kwenye MTANDAO!” he posted.
“I’m not finishing I just getting started, Kwa mara ya mwisho tag rafiki zetu, wambie watu wetu,” he added.
Darassa had earlier in the year dismissed rumors suggesting that he is addicted to drugs.
Speaking to Clouds FM on January 29, Darassa said his absence from social media and entertainment joints made people speculate that he was – in private – struggling with drug addiction.
“I have accomplished several big projects; and given the popularity of my name, some people would want to see me being active on social media; others would want to know the woman I’m dating; some would want to know where I hang out often. I don’t share that information publicly,” he explained.
“And because there’s an information vacuum about what I do in private, some people have speculated that I abuse hard drugs and substances; others claim I’m confused. No, I am doing fine.”
Darassa insinuated that his competitors are to blame for the rumours, which he termed as malicious back then.
Fans no longer have to worry about his well-being as the pictures he has shared online including a snippet of his upcoming Video show that he is indeed in great shape.
