On Tuesday, the Central bank of Kenya launchjed the much awaited new currency in an event that was graced by the President of the Republic Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta together with other financial leaders and political leaders.
Almost all the face of denominations were changed from what we normally have to having what Kenya is particulary known for which is wildlife, something that most thought was a good idea.
However, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is at it again after posting a controversial tweet which attracted rather not so bad comments from Kenyans as we may have thought.
Well seems like this time Kenyans agreed with this international media houses.
Taking to their twitter account BBC Africa tweeted saying, “Kenya money coins replace leaders with animals https://bbc.in/2Et70SK ”

Here are some reactions from Kenyans on Twitter
All that Central Bank of #Kenya #CBK needs to do is make the old currency invalid in 30 days, and require replacement through banks. All money hidden people in gunias will get obsolete.#KRA will be watching.
