Diamond Platnumz forced to hold free Wasafi concert after commotion

Tanzanian Artist Diamond Platinumz was forced to hold a  free concert yesterday after the scheduled concert was disrupted by heavy rains and  storm.

The concert had to be cut short after commotion that was caused by the heavy rains.

This was during the Wasafi tour/ Wasafi Festival which had been set for Saturday 8th December in Sumbwanga, Tanzania.

Fans turned up in large numbers for a taste of the musical and entertainment revolution that Diamond had promised his fans.

Although there was a storm and heavy rains, fans still marked positions and cheered him on before the team had to cancel the show.

Diamond revealed that the rain was a huge set back as the lights went out and the music system went down.

He however promised his fans that they will hold a free concert on 9th December which the Wasafi team did.

On Sunday, Diamond and his team were all set for the concert as they had told their fans that the rain would not be a reason for them to end the concert.’ If it rains.. we will still carry on” he said

It must have been a tough weekend for the Wasafi team as this time they were met with the unexpected.  Part of his team is said to have fallen after the stage caved in.

In another video, Diamond showed his fans how his arm was hurt after the fall. Some made fun of it saying that it was ‘Rayvanny’s’ heavy shoes that made the stage  fall apart.

Reports however reveal that the artists are getting better and are set for another turn up in Zanzibar in the course of the week.
