American Comedian and actor Kevin Hart has announced that he will be hosting the Oscars 2019 which is set to be held on February 24, 2019
The 91st Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), will honor the best films of 2018 and will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. During the ceremony, AMPAS will present Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories.
The ceremony will be televised in the United States by American Broadcasting Company (ABC), produced by Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss, with Weiss also serving as director. (wikipedia)
The Academy made this official announcement earlier today and even went ahead ad retweted Kevin Hart’s message as a sign of welcoming him to the Oscars Family.
For Kevin Hart, he says that for a long time people had been asking whether he will ever host the Oscars and for him, It has always been a dream.
A dream come true and the comedian could not hold his joy as he took to social media to share the news with his fans.

The Comedian has also promised to make the event memorable and special having that this will be the very first time that he will be hosting.
